Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA), Italy – the leading partner in the project Agri-Digital Growth. The Council for Agricultural Research and Economics Analysis (CREA) is Italy’s leading government research organization in the agri-food and forestry sectors. CREA comprises 12 specialized centers, including CREA-VE in Veneto, which focuses on viticulture and the grape-wine chain. CREA conducts research to promote innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness, developing advanced tools and methods in precision farming, soil and water management, and vineyard management to improve productivity while reducing environmental impact. CREA collaborates with wineries, agrifood SMEs, universities, and training centers to transfer scientific knowledge, validate prototypes, and educate professionals in areas such as precision viticulture, irrigation, genetics, and sustainable farming practices. As lead partner of the AgriDigital Growth project, CREA brings its expertise in vineyard research, precision irrigation, and knowledge transfer. Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, Italy – the partner in the project Agri-Digital Growth FEDERUNACOMA is the Italian Federation of Agricultural Machinery producers. It gathers 350 members, including large, medium and small enterprises. FEDERUNACOMA is also a member of the European association of the sector, CEMA, based in Brussels. The federation supports its members in work related to standard and technical regulations, included for safety at work and safety of the machines and of their implements. FEDERUNACOMA is among the initiators at national level of a pole on advanced and robotised viticulture, in collaboration with other key stakeholders of research and the wine sector. FEDERUNACOMA supports Italian industry also in relation to market watch and through the organisation of trade events in different countries. FEDERUNACOMA organises every two years a major trade fair, called EIMA International, that takes place in November in Bologna (Italy). The latest edition in 2024 hosted the record number of 346.000 visitors. FEDERUNACOMA will work in the project to update information for producers on standards and regulations, and in the dissemination, providing ad-hoc opportunities within the EIMA fairs during the project timeframe. Federunacoma is also Core Member of AEF (Agricultural Electronics Foundation) who has been organizing several Autonomy and Robotics events among the major worldwide players within the AG Machinery. https://www.federunacoma.it/ |
